What fabric are your ties and where are they made?
All our ties are 100% jacquard woven silk, made in China.

Our ties are slightly longer than average at 146cm (57.5").
Is your website secure?
The Need a New Tie online store is secured by a 128 bit SSL certificate. You will notice a padlock icon on the bottom of the browser when you go through the process of making an order. This icon indicates that all the information you enter in this session is secure. In fact, shopping online is just as secure (if not more secure) than any other time you may use your credit card.
How safe are my credit card details?
When you select to pay using a credit card, the transaction is sent directly to the bank. We do not store your card details or share them with any third parties. Unlike giving credit card details over the phone, SSL encryption automatically encrypts all your details using the latest SSL V3 encryption standard.
If you would prefer to pay by direct deposit, you can place your order through the website and select 'direct deposit' as your preferred method of payment. Our bank account details will then be displayed on the receipt page, as well as emailed to you. You can then make the payment directly.
What payment options do I have?
You can select to pay online through our website, by direct deposit, or you can post us a cheque or mail order. Selecting to pay online using our secure merchant facility does not incur any extra fees, and the tie will be sent on the next working day. However, should you chose to pay by cheque, mail order or direct deposit, there can be up to 3 working days for the payment to be received (and up to 5 working days for a cheque to clear). We will send your order after the funds have appeared in our account.

How long does it take for an order to arrive?
Once payment has been confirmed, we will dispatch your order the next business day, with Regular Australia Post. For postage within Australia, Regular Post takes approximately 2-3 working days, and for International postage using Air Mail it can take 3-7 working days. See Postage & Delivery for more information. You have the option to upgrade to Express Post or Express Post International if you need the item delivered urgently. International Express Post cost from $34 AUD. International Express Post can take 3-5 working days. A working day consists of Monday - Friday, excluding public holidays or weekends.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes - please contact us to cancel your order. If we have not already posted your item, you will receive a full refund to the method of your payment. Alternatively you can choose to receive credit to your account or a gift voucher for future purchases. If your order has already been posted, you will need to return the items before we will process the refund. The refund amount will not include the postage/delivery costs.
Are the stock levels correct?
Yes, our stock levels are correct. If you would like to order items that are out of stock, please contact us and we will see if they are still available.
